DVD BACKUP ISSUES

I have a Lite-on DVDRW 812S 8X DVD +\- Burner.

When I backup my DVD's they dont work in my players. It comes up with
'unknown disc' and 'disc error' errors. My software is the latest. It used to
burn DVD's, and its only happened after I burnt a CD. Im pretty sure this is
a windows issue...

Its only being recognized as a CD drive in my explorer and will only burn
CD's. All the drivers and settings say its working properly.

Has anyone had these problems or can help me out?
