I recently purchased a new computer that has an integrated video card. I
want to be able to connect an additional monitor to "extend" my desktop for
when I work on video projects. I really do not want to bypass the integrated
card.

If I install another video card, can I continue to use the integrated card
with my primary monitor? What recommendations does anyone have for the type
card to purchase?

I have another computer that I can do this with, as I removed the original
video card and installed one that allowed me to connect 2 monitors.
