Good points Michael. I whole heartedly agree.
It seems my follow-up post is causing more concern than my initial reply to
the OP. My response to Rob was simply a suggestion on what to try next. He
already killed his card. Rob already exceeded the boundaries of what you
would suggest someone do in his situation. It seems to me a possible
solution on this "other" side might be appropriate. Doing what I suggested
wouldn't kill it more. If it failed, he could still attempt to send it to
ATI or Sapphire in a similar state that is in right now. My response to
namniar contained the reference to the modding community and was directed at
him/her, not Rob, or others of his experience level.
But either way, I think this thread has run its course.
