Will-

I've been watching this tread for a few days because I had the exact same
problem. I wonder what your hunch is. Are you leaning towards a virus issue
or a hardware problem?

Before this thread appeared I decided to do a clean install of XP. The
install failed and the screen went black and continually tried to reboot.
What now?
