XP - Disc used bt another app - ?

Hi,

I am trying to fix a HD and I get a panel with a messaeh that metions this..

"Disc couold not ne repaired as it is being used bu another application.
Close app and make sure no windows are open".

I have Explore on 'My Computer' so the drive isn't shown, Took of
Nortons Auto" Email stuff and as far as I know there is no apps going to
the drive.

How do I find what is attached to this drive. I can't see anything
obvious in Task Mgr.

I do have the box connected to a Home Network.
