First of all, XP lists the drivers/services after they are successfully
loaded - so agp440.sys is fine! Leave it well alone.

What HP machine is it? If it's a newer one with a non-destructive recovery
option, then use it. If it hasen't then ur stuck with the full-blown
recovery. But this may well not work, because the hardware it's made to
setup, is now completely different.

If the full recovery doesn't machine the machine boot OK, then it's standard
XP CD time!!
