Well you should't connect an IDE Device to a SCSI Controller. This
could fry either your SCSI Card, IDE Device, or both. Make sure you
have everything connected properly inside. If the DVD Drive is SCSI,
make sure you have the right SCSI ID number chosen for it. What exactly
is the SCSI being used for? What motherboard is this? What drives are
SCSI and what drives are IDE?
