hdd partition

hi,
   
 my brother reinstalled windows after it crash, and since
then i have had 2 local drives, my normal C:drive and a
F:Drive. I dont want to keep this F:Drive and want it off
my computer as it is useless to me. I am running Windows
XP home. I have tried a somthing i found on the microsoft
site for xp professional but the computer manager wouldnt
allow me to delete the partition.

 any ideas?
