Your video card might be overheating. When my son plays
certain video games (including Battlefield Vietnam), he
has to take off the side cover and point a desk fan at the
computer's innards. I added two case fans, but it will
still lock up. It does not lock up with less video-
intensive use, e.g. web browsing or word processing.
