CD Drive Problems

I upgraded my system the other day, but I kept my hard
drive CD drive and floppy drive. I had to wipe my hard
drive, and my floppy drive works ok, but my CD drive keeps
telling me there's no CD in the drive. I can hear it spin
up and the mouse has the little CD symbol next to it, but
it still keeps telling me there's no CD. Anyone have any ideas?
