Try this:

Click Start-Run-Type regedit and click OK. Now expand to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB

Find and delete the folder starting with Vid_Xxxx that contains the
problematic flash drive. Make sure the drive is disconnected when you
delete this key. Reboot after you have deleted it and then plug it in.
  It should work after that ;)
