Haha, don't crap yourself. That is one of the best DVD Burners on the
market. I'll give you a hint, this drive is inside every HP, TDK, some
MadDogs, and many others. The reason it is so cheap is because it comes
with nothing. No software, no cables, nothing. It isn't rebadged which
costs money, no custom bezel which costs money. This is an OEM product
and is even upgradeable to the NEC ND-2510A which does Dual Layer. It
hsa one of the best compatibility lists for any DVD Burner, and I'm sure
the people at cdfreaks.com would love to hear you say that about one of
the favorite drives. Read this:

This drive's negatives mentioned at the end of the article have mostly
been fixed by patched firmware (unlocked DVD ripping, bitsetting, etc.).
  I use this drive all the time and have burned 1 coaster out of over 50
DVDs (and that was because I used stupid DVDX Copy which didn't work).
