Go to another computer and check your mobo manufacturer's
web site to see if they have any way to restore the BIOS.
Intel does but you said K7 so it's not that. Some BIOS's
also allow you to hold INS while booting to skip directly
into the BIOS with generic settings. Many Soyo's offer
that option.
My guess is that you have either fried something or when
you reset it a FSB speed has been changed that the BIOS
doesn't like now. AMD... make sure the CPU fan is plugged
in. Usually when you pop an AMD proc you can smell it, it
reeks.
