Problem with System Information

I have a problem on Xp Professional. I want to access the system
information program but when I click the link in start menu > all programs >
accessories > sytem tools I just get the help and support center! I then
typed msinfo32.exe into the run command and still got the help and support
center instead of system info. Does anyone know what might be wrong here?
Is there any setting that can be adjusted to by pass the help and support
center?
