This is a XP support newsgroup. Please direct Windows 98/Windows 2000
questions tothe correctly newsgroup.
Check to see that the cable is correct place in the pins (both ends) and
that Pin 1 lines up with the red striped wire.
Check the motherboard BIOS and make sure that the floppy settings are
correct.
