unable to install VGA controller (vga compatible) driver

ive just reinstalled xp and now everything is just a lil
slow. im trying to install ATI Technologies Inc. display
software update released on March 30 but i cant seem to
find the driver online. the problem is that ive tried
downloading it thorugh windows automatic update and it
almost always fails. ive tried searching for the driver on
the MS support site but i cant seem to find it....any
chance i can get help on this one
