     When you are first booting?
     After it is fully booted?
     How are you trying to "open" them?

     after the computer is fully booted, it will not open-it worked before upgrading to Windows XP--i have a lab in my classroom with 20 computers and this happened on 4 of them--when I press the eject button on the tower it doesn't work, when I go to my computer, d, right click and eject it won't open

how do i upgrade the system BIOS
