I just installed a Seagate 160 gig hard drive and used the
utility that came with it before I could install xp home.
My motherboard recognizes it as a Seagate 160 and during
the utility I had to go through, it said that I could only
use 130gb on windows. XP shows it as that and was
wondering if there was way to make xp see it as 160. I
thought the utility pointed out something that after xp
was installed that I could go back and do something with
it. Any ideas if there is a way to make xp see it as 160?
I do plan on very soon putting in a new motherboard with
either an Athlon64 or FX and wonder if that would have an
affect on doing anything different with my drives. Thanks
for any suggestions.
