Changing to new computer
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
I would value opinions as to the best way to set up a new computer. A
friend is purchasing one with Win XP and has asked me to help her
install all the required software. OK, program discs will be necessary
and so forth, and that side of it is no problem, albeit time consuming.
But there seems to be a multiplicity of ways to move all the data, the
simplest being to simply put it on a memory stick and copy it across.
There's also the issue of OE address book and internet access settings.
Thanks in advance for any views you may have for making this task less
onerous.
