Win XP Media OS, under Local Disk/documents and settings/ there is an
administrator folder then another folder with my name on it. all my
stuff-docs/pics/saved info goes to that folder not the administrator folder.
why? i am the administrator.

You are a user with administrative authority. You are not "The Administrator".
Windows XP Home Edition has a hidden logon for "The Administrator" for safety and repair functions.
Do not attempt to remove this account.
You can logon as "The Administrator" only if you go to the "Safe Mode".
