Thanks very much for your interest Smirnoff I have already tried the Flash
Uninstaller, but then still struck the same trouble.

My problem seems to be very similar to that described in the post from 9/1
entitled "Unable to Download from Adobe", but I wasn't sure how to best
continue that thread.
More specifically, my difficulty has been with attempting to download
Adobe
Flash Player. About two weeks ago, I went to a website that I have used
successfully recently, and received an error message saying that I needed
to
install Flash Player (which I thought I already had, but then could not
find
in my list of All Programs). I have tried to download Flash Player from
the
Adobe site multiple times, but keep striking a message about the "Dr
Watson
Debugger", every time I click the tab at the top of the browser to allow
Active-X, and then the browser freezes up and has to be closed.
I have tried everything I can think of to find a problem on my computer,
but
running virus/malware scans, etc have not found anything unusual, or
changed
the situation.
Today, there was a slight change when I once again tried to download Flash
Player (hoping that my problem might have gone away)....I was still unable
to
download, but this time Dr Watson did not appear, but I got multiple
messages
saying "A problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer to close and
reopen this tab", until finally the page hung up. I even tried Firefox
instead of Explorer, but had exactly the same trouble.

I would be grateful if anyone can offer any further suggestions about how
to
deal with this frustrating problem.

Apart from running your anti-nasty programmes and checking that you do not
have any malware, try using the Flash Uninstaller

Then try to reinstall again.
