Thanks to anyone reading this and thinking of offering advice. Problem solved.
Tweaked a folder in My Documents and program now works OK. Perhaps I should have thought of that before posting:-(

Hope someone can help, or point me in the right direction.
Running Memory-Map OS5 and turned computer off without shutting down properly - I know, I know, stupid, but I was in a rush -
Now program will not start up, just goes to the '...windows encountered a problem ...' window every time. have tried uninstalling, re-installing, removing registry entries and even used System Restore to an earlier point - no joy. Presume it must be a problem outside the program, but not sure. Anyone shed any light on this ? Have tried to find a more appropriate newsgroup but this one seemed the most likely.
Thanks for any help
Rick
