I have the correct incoming and outgoing settings.

Can someone help?

Thanks.

Message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server
smtpauth.peoplepc.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is
refusing SMTP connections. Please very that your SMTP server setting
is correct and try again.

First, you shouldn't have included your real email address when posting in this newsgroup. It's an invitation to be spammed.

Second, if you're *certain* that your email client (which you have not identified) is configured with your correct email address and corresponding password, the most likely reason for this message is that you are attempting to use the SMTP server from your ISP (peoplepc.com) but you are connected to the Internet using a different ISP. For quite a number of years, most reputable ISPs block access to their SMTP server from users who are not actually connected using their own servers.

If the preceding paragraph doesn't apply to you, call your ISP's tech support.
