Team viewer will work for you.
i am partial to Ultra VNC. It is free but depending on your network
configuration (if the computer you are trying to access is on another
router) you will need to know how to do port forwarding on the router.
Bottomline: router configuration is not necessary with TeamViewer. So
depending on your technical expertise, TeamViewer requires little to none to
use.
Another nice one easy to use one that doesn't require installation files on
the computer is ammyadmin . Ammyadmin is zero configuration as well.

One thing I would check is to see if TeamViewer will install as a service.
Your basic want for this is say your computer reboots in the remote office,
you will want the TeamViewer app to automatically launch and be ready for
you to connect to it versus running out to the remote location and
doubleclicking on Team Viewer to start it again.
BTW-I know for a fact Ammyadmin has this feature.

I've been looking for a way to sit here in the den and remotely control
another PC 120' away in another building. I happened to install some new
hardware on yet another machine, and ran into trouble with the s/w. The
mfger from Michigan (I'm in Calif.) used teamleader to get it working. The
program is free, and I think available from Cisco. I think I might be able
to use it on my LAN. Haven't tried it yet.
I've heard of another program called VNC, which may do the same thing.
Maybe it's even the same program. I get the feeling it's not free. Is it
free in some version and is there a preference between the two?
