I would have thought that 'Partition Magic' would be capable of doing
this.
Not having the up-to-date version myself, I have version 4.0 for DOS,
and that does the job.
It would be called 'copying' a partition - not 'cloning' though. Even
though the Win98 partition fills an entire physical drive, it's still a
partition.
First, plug the Win98 drive into your new PC as a 'slave' drive (you may
need to change the tiny 'jumpers' on both drives).
Then, just create a new partition on your new PC's hard-drive (after
re-sizing the existing partition to make room for it - if needed) the
same size as your Win98's drive (or a tiny bit bigger to be sure).
Finally, there should now be an option apparent in Partition Magic that
gives you a 'copy' item for your Win98 partition and on using it - gives
you the new empty partition as a possible destination for the copy (the
new partition being large enough).
If there is no available partition large enough to accommodate a 'copy'
connected to the PC - the 'copy' option will not be available (this is
how it works in version 4, anyhoo).
Whatever you choose to do in the end, remember, you are wanting to
'copy' a 'partition' NOT 'clone'.

I have Windows 98 installed on another hardrive from a computer that
went bad. (motherboard). Is it possible to clone all the info from
that hard drive onto my current hard drive to create a dual boot?
If so, how?
I have partition magic so partitioning the drive wouldn't be a
problem.
Thanks!
