I am runing sp3 build 2600 on my laptop.
ACAD program seems to be compatible since a few folders and the data inside
is visible. Will try uninstalling ie8 and see if the files are visible.
however the last time i did system restore they were still not visible so
lets see.
Will keep you posted. Have emailed MS support also through the earlier link
you posted.

My personal recommendations include:
