That said it all Andy, you are not logged as Admin. Your account is limited
or enforced some restrictions on how and what it does on that account!

You have the question and the answer in the same time. You can't enforce
regsitry changes while in a Limited account, but you can give the limited
user the right to do so through the admin account by chnaging the Policies.


What about right click on the registry key and select permissions>>
