I have googled "./btCore.js" several times and didn't turn up much of
recent vintage or anything leading to a fix.
My antivirus is AVG and I did disable it when trying to load the email
application - didn't make a difference.
I've been with MyWay.com for about four years - the appeal was and is
that there are no ads. All worked beautifully until about a year ago
when MyWay.com was bought out, and the new firm installed a system
(bluetie.com) where the email application downloads each time you
log-in. Since then it's been hit-or-miss getting into the email -
sometimes taking two or three tries to get in. For the past two weeks
I've been able to get access only twice from my home computer. When I
go to the public library with its high-speed cable service, I get in
easily.
I'm stumped and open to trying anything reasonable.

Were you having this problem before upgrading to IE8? Do you have a
clean dial-up connection? The symptoms sound like some sort of script
time out problem. Check your modem manufacturer's website for any
software updates for your version modem. Before I installed the web
update for my out of the box 56K modem, it would only connect at
31,200bps, but now more than 40,000, sometimes more than 50,000.
