Re: Need Help - Blue Screen Driver IRQL Not Less or Equal

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Given that the problem occurs whilst you are surfing I suggesting you disable all Add-Ons in Firefox and see if the errors occur. You will need to test for some time until you get an error. If you don't get an error add one of the Add Ons back and test again. Of course your problem may not be an Add On

Another test could be to uninstall Firefox and use Internet Explorer.

The exercise is to try to eliminate possible causes of the problem. It would helpful if you posted details of the tests and the results.

Ok -

I am using Windows XP SP3

MPC Transport T2200 is the laptop.

The blue screen seems to appear at random times. I can be surfing the
web for a long time and all the sudden it just pops up.

I installed a plug in from Microsoft that is for Firefox, maybe that
will help but I'm not counting on it.

I don't think I can reinstall windows b/c I don't have the program.
My son's step-mom got the computer from a friend.

I am using a wireless connection and have not tried wired.
