In Program Files, open the Microsoft Office folder, then open the OFFICE
11 subfolder.
Right click XLVIEW.EXE, choose Properties.
Click the Version tab.
Please post the Version number of XLVIEW.EXE

*** The EXCEL.EXE file is version 11.0.8169

along with the " Getting products to patch ... " section of the
installation log.
