Re: Error adding MisConfig - startup - new entry;

I think what it is, is that I tried to uncheck boxes in msconfig startup and
they still marked themselves after reboot.

In regedit, hklu, namely: "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background

I wanted OUT of msconfig startup, period. If their are any empty boxes in
msconfig startup, they don't need to even be there, period. In hklm,

Another is: C:\Program Files\Norton Password Manager\AcctMgr.exe /startup
and C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CfgWiz.exe /GUID
{D1AFB197-5F24-49f4-9571-2F28A9798936}, which I don't even have in add/remove
programs. I ran the remove all programs file from Symantec, and still this is
stuck in regedit.

"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\Reader_sl.exe"

"C:\Program Files\PC-Doctor 5 for Windows\RunProfiler.exe" -r

I click on the right hand side, click delete, hit refresh and their they are
again. I mean, what hell!

This what Micorosft, ETC does. They lock up, embed god only knows what and
sell ill, problematic os's that are full ful contricting, lack of user
control, etc, making their money (or extra ill $$$) money back in support,
telling people two option's, non-destructive and full destructive recoveries.
multi billion dollar corrupt with hidden agenda's. Tried up with their legal
dept. Saying "Then come out with your own OS then". Yeah right. It's just
sick. Destorying the personal computer owned lives of many over the last 2 -
3 decade's amidst 6.7 billion; even with those related, shipping tech
support, misc overseas and them keeping people on the phone, ($$$) ill
support, using their position with the company overseas - knowing they won't
get caught, it's (?) word against their's. Uh, Yeah, I get it all too well.
But whatever!, God sees all, SO BE IT, so they (? amidst 6.7 billion and
through the ages since Adam & Eve) can & will reap it), as and/or along with
Lucifer's dumbass. So be it.

Don't bother using MSCONFIG. This is like a child's toy in the computer
industry

Go directly into the registry if you know what you're doing. You can then
right-click the RUN keys & check their permissions

Do you have any registry permission problems or GPO's in place that stop you
editing the registry?

Don't bother adding the URL to your site as no-one will visit it & people
will just think you're a spammer

Error adding MisConfig - startup - new entry of something I need to
startup;
nevermind what it is, just that I moved mouse over on the right hand side,
right clicked, saw new, went to String Value, went to type in new name and
it
said I couldn't; plus, all the permissions are set to me, it's a home pc,
thus, how else can I add something to MisConfig - startup I need to
startup?
Thank you in advance. Yeah well, it ain't happening . . . thus, don't know
what else it could be, or that I'm doing wrong or something with my setup
or
(?); everything should be fine on pc, but I need to add something to
(either)
hklm or hklu - software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run, as exhibited
in
msconfig's startup tab. Thank you in advance.
