I like Windows Explorer but there are a few things lacking. I was wondering
if anybody here can recommend an improvement and why they prefer another
program perhaps. I'd especially like it to be able to adjust the columne

all the width in your display space possible and this would help that
situation. Several years ago I think I used something called Total
Commander which was interesting. Surely there are others.
As you noticed, your thread has been "hijacked" to promote FireFox.
This is totally "bogus" as most "readers" see Explorer therefore they
will recommend Firefox as a replacement to Internet Explorer.

The problem with most Windows, since at least Windows 98, appears that
Microsoft has developed Internet Explorer and decided to link it as
the Windows Explorer. You might not find a better replacement to
Windows Explorer because of this.
