Anyone have any suggestions besides getting a more up to date
computer? It is a Dell 8250 bought in 2003.
Does the slowness occur when you try to start in Safe mode?
In safe mode without networking?
Sometimes the system is delayed in starting because it's waiting on a
response from a network machine that it can't reach.
