I had to recover my C drive on my Vaio recently and this was successful but
I
now find that I am unable to access the files on my D drive. Presumably
because the recovery process has reset the factory settings to default and
my
profiles have been wiped. I am using XP Professional and the recovery of
C
drive was from a partition on C drive. The machine works fine but I fear
my
data is no more even though I can see in properties that it is taking up
disk
space on D drive.

Any ideas?

What happens when you try?
