Had a bug in my system and did a back up install from the hiden drive of
my computer. Now I need to get back into the programs that were put into the
autosaved files. any ideas?

It seems there is much confusion in this thread. I note the expressions
"backup install", "hidden drive", "factory restore", "System Restore" and
"backup". The first expression doesn't mean anything at all and the other
expressions mean various different things.

I suggest you clarify the matter and report exactly what you did, in which
order and where you stand right now. A step-by-step description might be
most useful.

OK this is what happend. My parents opened a email with a bug attached. It
was taking over the control of the programing and the net explorer.I did a
system restore from the original base programing the computer maker partition
into the hard drive. As it did it it backed up the hard drive into a backeup
file of all programing in the system at the time. Now I need to restore the
programing in that file. It has items loced into it that I need for my
busness. (check book,ordering invoices,time sheets,ect)
