It would seem you still have some infectors on the PC. To verify boot
to Safe Mode and test your items. If functional - then you've still got
issue(s) with Malware.
I would boot to Safe Mode with Networking and run a few online
scans to double-check the machine's condition.
BitDefender:

Kaspersky:

Eset NOD32:

Personally I'd drop AdAware and add Malwarebytes 1.34 to your
mix of Security apps.

Using Windows XP home SP2.
Had virus recently and now removed - CA, Dr Web, Adaware and
Superantispyware pick up nothing.
Problem is have lost "Open" option on many functions, ie:
START/My Documents
START/My Pictures
START/My Computer
START/NetworkPlaces
START/ControlPanel
and
Using Windows Explorer - left hand pane opens/expands, right hand pane
does
not - top option is "Scan with Spybot S@D"
and
in ControlPanel most options open ok, but following have lost open/expand
option - Admin Tools, Fonts, Network Connections, Scheduled Tasks,
Scanners &
Camers and Printers & Faxes.
System Restore does not fix - any other way to fix?
Thanks
.
