Hey, a while back a got a virus and now, after removing it, a number of
things do not work with windows.

Here is the list-
- Internet Explorer does not load webpages.
- Windows Media Player does not load up at all.
- Under the Control Panel, my User Accounts is blank and does not give me
access to any of my accounts.
- The search feature does not work, meaning i cannot use the search
feature at all.

Can anyone help me? I am stuck. Thanks!

Since we don't know what virus/malware you were infected with, I can only
suggest a couple of things:

1. You might want to post on one of the specialty forums listed below for
guided help to make sure your computer is really clean. (Please don't post
logs here in the MS newsgroups.)

2. If the machine is really clean, back up your data (because Stuff Happens)
and do a Repair Install.

3. If the Repair Install doesn't help, then whatever you were infected with
has damaged the operating system too badly. Do a clean install of Windows.
