Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Thank you for your reply.
Actaully i did scan the workstations with different anti viruses, i didnt
mean that both are installed and running at the same time.
Thanks

if so - then that's probably your problem, as they will fight each other!

Actually once I was posting this question I didn't get confirmation that
my
post has been posted successfully. It was showing error and asking me to
re-send my question I did so many times. I am really very sorry.
Dear, it looks strange that 4 machines are having the same problem at the
same time their hardware are malfunctioning? I checked hardware drivers
are
properly installed.
Virus scanning is also done by using Trend Micro and MaCafee but no
positive
outcome.
Below are 2 more errors those I am getting on the same machines.
1. Generic Host Process for Win32 Service has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
2. Data Execution Prevention - Microsoft Windows, to help protect your
computer, windows has closed this program. Name: Generic Host Process for
Win32 Services. Publisher: Microsoft Corporation
I set "no paging file" but no luck then tried "System managed size" but
also
didn't help, even "Custom Size for Virtual memory" didn't help.
Looking forward for your support.
Thanks and Regards,
SaiNe

Dear Friends,

On some Windows XP machines I am getting this stop error:
0x00000096.------------ INVALID_WORK_QUEUE_ITEM.

I didn't install any new hardware, all the drivers are correctly
installed,
about this error what information I found on MS site I applied but no
use.. So
please help me out otherwise i have to re-format the workstations.

Details about workstations:

OS= Win XP Pro (on some it's SP2 and some are having SP3, so SP is not
going
to solve the problem)

Antivirus (updated)

Office=2003

Note: tried already Spay Boot (Search and Destroy) but didn't help.

Thanks in advance

SaiNe

I did some net search on this error.Seems like a hardware issue.New
hardware or incompatible hardware could be a cause of the problem.

1) Also check problem machines for disk space.Free disk space should
atleast 4GB.

2) Run malware scan.

3)Disable virtual memory,then re-enable it.

4)Update all softwares including virus/Spyware softwares.

5)i would also recommended to try different virus/spyware/Malware
softwares.Because some times they may also cause issues like these.
