You have to go into BIOS setup and set the Maxtor drive as the boot
device.
I went into BIOS set up and selected Maxtor as the boot device. I
noticed everything was enabled, except for 32 bit data x-fer. Should i
enable that? Also, i noticed the primary IDE slave and third slave are
not detected. I got another prompt stating that CMOS Checkum is not
installed. Not sure what that is. Thanks again for your help. I am
explaining as best i can with the limited computer knowledge that it
have.
