Re: Slow to run an application

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

You could have a number of unrelated issue(s). Any noticeable loss of
performance can indicate one of two things, Malware infestation or the
Windows volume has become "Dirty" ( Data issue ). As a test, boot the
PC to safe Mode. If it responds normally then it's not likely a disk issue.
To test the drive, Open a command prompt window and type Chkdsk C:
In the summary, you'll be notified if Chkdsk found issues that could not
be resolved without a more extensive Chkdsk C: /R. You shouldn't run
this command if your data and system state aren't imaged ( & Verified ).

Malke has a web page that details steps to Malware detection/removal.

You might also run TaskMgr and determine how much loading ( System
and Memory ) is being used in a quiescent state ( no foreground apps
running ).

In my machine , when I am trying to run an application , it is taking too
much time to run. But in all other machine with the same configuration ,
that will work fine. So I think some other program was loaded and it is
taking too much memory on that system. How I can find out that which
program
is taking too much memory.

I tried to find out through task manager to locate the program which is
taking too much time. But task manager is also is also very slow to run.
After certain period of time task manager and the application , which I
want
to run, will be opend.

So Please help to solve the problem and locate the program which is
taking
memory

With Thanks and Regards
