Ray,
Yeah, exactly right. For some reason, when I tried to post it the first two
times, I recieved a message that the posting had failed and that I should
resubmit later. It was only when I went back into the newsgroup that I
realized that the system had, in fact, taken my posting. I tried to look for
some way to delete the multiple postings, but couldn't find anything. Maybe
you can help me if this happens again, is there a way of deleting a posting
after it makes it to the newsgroup? That would be more helpful than your
previous response.
The reason you're having such problems is that you are using the awful
web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest,
most error-prone method of using the newsgroups there is. Do yourself
a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which
comes with Windows XP, or Windows Mail, which comes with Vista. See
