You will definitely want to make it very clear what you're selling, why you are selling, and the limit of your responsibility. And check into business liability insurance if someone decides you are illegal.

So there are companies besides Dell, HP, etc., that are allowed to do this. I mentioned earlier that your post sorta answered my question as you mention I can't do it. I would like to know why besides referring me to read the Dell OEM EULA.

Again, I really am not trying to sound brash as I appreciate everyone's time but having a little more indepth answer is what I am looking for. Thanks!

Microsoft does not make recovery/restore CD's, those are made by OEM PC mfg's to install an OS on to a purchased computer. If you are talking about actual Microsoft Windows XP installation media, some can be resold, some cannot.

The Dell recovery discs cannot be resold by themselves. You would have to sell the Dell computers along with the Dell recovery CDs in order to have a legal selling transaction. Would you like to be sued by Dell and banned forever from selling sites such as eBay?

If you have any further questions, read the Dell OEM Windows XP EULA which can be found by exploring the Dell recovery CD.
