Background information on Stop Error message
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms797149.aspx
A device driver problem has caused the system to pause indefinitely
(hang). Typically, this is caused by a display driver waiting for the
video hardware to enter an idle state. This might indicate a hardware
problem with the video adapter, or a faulty video driver.

Is there any way to find out what the Windows error codes are ?
I just had a PC reboot itself, then fail to load WinXP SP3 with a
blue screen :
(twice, mentioning "Device driver NV4_Disp has stuck in an infinite
loop" etc.which I assumed was a video card driver)
I managed, eventually to get into Windows, and downloaded/install
the latest drivers for the video card.
So far the PC has booted OK 6 times, but I did get a pop up with:
"Windows has recovered from a major fault" etc.
The error signature is :
BCCode: 100000ea BCP1:8B27B290 BCP2:8B2AA4C0 BCP3:BA4E7CBC
BCP4:00000001 OSVer:5_1_2600 SP:3_0 Product:768_1
Does Windows generate a readable report, and hide it somewhere
within the OS ?
TIA for any help
