I am rebuilding a five-year old Dell computer with Windows XP Pro on it.
I have a Dell CD to reinstall windows, but I have lost my 1000-digit
security
code for Windows. How can I obtain this code from within the system
before I
rebuild?? Thanks, guys.

If you are reinstalling using a Dell XP Pro CD, you will not need to input a
Product Key.
