Here's the problem, E is my dvd burner. Today I burned some stuff onto my
Verbatim-R using CopyToDVD. Everything went great. After burning, I wanted to
burn a ISO file. But here's the problem, when I insert a new blank Verbatim-R
into the E drive, nothing happens (usually I hear a "starting wind noise" if
it's normal), so I went into My Computers and double-click on the E drive, it
says "E:\ is not accessible...Incorrect function," then I click on properties,
noticed the blank dvd is now 0 free bytes, 0 used bytes, RAW file (It also
shows CD Drive, but this may be normal). Now the blank dvd is useless. I even
went to properties and clicked on Recording, then check Enable CD recording
for this drive. It still doesn't burn. It may be able to read. Also, now when
I insert anything and then eject it, the disc icon is still there (usually
when you eject the disc, it shows a drive and a cd icon).
The Dvd burner I have is Lite-On DVDRW SOHW-832S
Will updating the firmware or restarting the computer work?
Here's a novel idea:
W H Y D O N ' T Y O U T R Y I T A N D S E E ? ?
