I haven't met a one male Kelly. But we do have a family here (just one) with the last name of Kelly. Supposedly, Kelly is an Irish name - which my grandfather is 100 %Irish thus the selection of my first name to go along with my Irish maiden name.

Really? OK then, and I stand corrected.
Moreover, Kelly is a fairly common last name, and men with that last
name are sometimes called that.
