Have you recently accessed the BIOS and made changes whether intentional
or accidental? What is the Boot Sequence?

Hope this helps.

hi all, im after a little guidence with an error message im getting
while booting up.
the message is "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press
enter" the wierd thing is that if i insert the xp disk and just have
that
sitting in the drive and not boot from it, the machine boots
normally. ive tried checking the disk and defragging it and all
appears
normal. thanks
