I would not bother with it at all. You do not know what is on the computer if infected or porn and etc.
Reformat the computer and do a clean install of the OS (Operating System)

I received a computer for free it has a password on and the username is.
already on it but I don't know the password how do I get in to change the
password or how do I go about getting around the password so I can go in and
