How do get rid of the Welcome Screen on startup

OK before I used to turn on my laptop and would boot right into Windows. Now
I get the Welcome Srceen or logon box depending on the settings. In Control
Panel/User Accounts/Change the way a user logs on or off.
I've unchecked the Use the Welcome Screen as well as the Use Fast User
Switching. Doesn't matter what is unchecked or checked I can't get by this.
What happened and how can I boot right into windows with no logon or welcome
screen. Thanks.
