My aunt's computer keeps freezing up when she uses her cd drive only certian
music or other types do this we're not sure why Please help us figure out the
problem.
Well, how much Disk space your Aunt's have left on her Computer!
- How much RAM installed.
- Does this behavior just started or dragging from a long time and your
aunt's got fed up with it now?
Did you run disk clean up and Defrag in safe mode with a thorogh scan for
malware and viruses?

Re: Windows XP fails to shut down in reasonable tome ... there is about 700 megs ram being used and <1% cpu usage.... I scanned for malware with macafee and nothing is showing. ... I recently upgraded to a new hard drive and now have>800 gb disk space.... The whole thing is slow and sluggish and it has nothing to do with the speed of your CPU, your drive space or your ram....
